How's Life?

A place we love to go and *chillax* in on a beayootiful sunny day is Redwood Park, and today Nate showed his immense bravery and charm by getting a horsie ride, in his bike helmet, natch, from a very nice woman with an amazing Belgian cross-breed horse named Dorothy. Nate watched a couple of other kids get rides and said "I want a pony ride!" so on he went! We love that park since mommy can go do a trail run in the muck up the hill along the creek and daddy even got a short run in (I shouldn't call us mommy and daddy, as Nate likes to say "mom" and "dad" now), trading off hanging out with Nate at the playground. He goes on and off about going for longer walks with us, and today he just felt like getting his toes in the sand.

Another fav activity is taking his bike across the charming green Park St. bridge, being a drawbridge with a pedestrian/bike walkway leading to a nice stretch of waterfront, composing a fine ride on a spring evening. We are all greatly looking forward to more evening hours for biking!

So many places to go and things to do! The amazing thing is how Mom and Dad (yes, I'm getting with the program) have the energy for all these terrific activities. Lucky Nate.
