Just a little bit of Xmas--Hanukkah Bush, whatever

Daddy brought a nice sacrificed Hanukkah Bush home...after much cajoling from Nate "There's no Christmas at OUR house!!!" and
"Wahhh! No tree at our house!" so off they went, in the rain today, and I hung my two little ornaments on there, and there was much rejoicing and so on.
REally, though, it will be fun to do the Xmas morning surprises, esp. since Liz and both Grandmas and Grandpa sent such nice presents and cards! Mommy has to wrap up a couple of things just for fun, too, (already got his bike!) since the boy loves a box, and we get to smell the piney pine smell all over the house!

Thanks to Grandma Moho for card this year too!
The whole idea of the tree is pagan, remember?
Nate looks as if he can't wait!
Yes, Pagan!! we still a star for the top, and Matt is going to make the popcorn string!
Tree looks lovely. We do the pagan tree worship here too. Three more words: construction paper chains.
OK< those are the 1952 Brownie pics, where are the clear ones??
We put up ours in the still empty townhouse!

Ahem, Nate took two of those pictures! You would not believe how unphotogenic our house is--really hard to get a nice shot. We are getting one more string of lights and the construction paper chains are a groovy idea, but we are madly trying to get the place ship-shape for Nate's big Solstice Birthday Party!
