Fun at every single pumpkin jamboree!

Well, mommy loves pumpkin season, and so does baby. We hit the big Franklin Park jamboree, Nate got to spin the wheel of the 1962 Alameda Fire truck and hold the hose with the handsome firefighter! He really was impressed by the amount of water that might come out of the hose, but the firefighter guy wasn't impressed by mommy's comment that we could use the firehouse to control the big crowds at the jamboree, in the event things got out of hand.
Nate got to pick out a pumpkin, eat some candy (all the kids stopped dead in their tracks, in the middle of the path, and examined the contents of the goody bags!) Nothing so cute as a bunch of kids sitting in dirt eating Smarties.

He looks very Zombie-like here...bad lighting, cell-phone pic.

Franklin Park must be fun -- how fast he's growing up, though. He's a lucky guy to have two parents who make sure he gets to explore all the new places in his new neighborhood.
