New pad + child

It's nice that Nate has some room to play...same old sofa 'natch, the ugly ugly gas heater is nicely camouflaged in the old hippie blanket (pilot light off) and the new lamp casts a gentle glow, the ceiling fan for the living room is there still in it's box. The kitchen one was quite an operation, esp. the spectacular rain of mouse poo out of the ceiling when the old fluorescent was removed.

We have a temporary desk set up against the double doors on the bookshelf--fine for now. The music room is still a horror of boxes...

I like Nate's cool blue shades...his spider plant helps clean the air of carpet fumes...we rediscovered the cute quilt Grandma Sue made, which will adorn the wall, along with my new Ikea pendant shade and my vintage planet felt shapes, once I unpack them!
