Musical Interludes

Nate's favorite part of Alameda life is surely motoring (in his stroller, 'natch) to Tucker's Ice Cream parlor on Park for vanilla "cone ice cream." The cone part is critical; must be a sugar cone! The little park down the street is a nice spot--near Friday high school football games, lots of teens out and about--kids playing paddle-ball, having an old-fashioned time! Mommy took a jog last weekend and saw: American flag with rainbow Eagle (use your imagination) and a funny car out front (cage, 4' tires, etc...) lots of friendly cats, few people out doing nothing...where do people run around here??? The gym? How 80's!
Still working lots at mommy's "job" putting in an occasional Sat. here and there, which really takes it out of everyone, I've found. Got in some home-improvement biz this week, really makes a difference--immense feelings of satisfaction getting rid of majorly icky fluorescent fixtures, but baffled by the lack of attention to other things like: who is going to finish painting the new rear door before it rains, and water ruins it? Moi? Je mais! Ou et le tempes? Si vouz plait, etc...
Now zat we have ze internet tubes, I shall endeavor to take some photos of our new abode, in pieces as it is, and post them!

Lots of hugs and kisses to you all.
What a job moving, and having to choose the best option available.
It's good that there is ice cream in a sugar cone.
