More of the beach...

"Daddy! Make it a square!"
Nate is VERY possessive of his daddy when he has time to spend with him...lots of time at home building bases and towers out of his megablocks and crashing them, lots of imaginative play: "It's the bakery! The doors are closed! The kids can't get in!" and so on...Can't wait to switch to the Legos in the closet, he's almost ready.
The Mariachi band was from the Pescadero "Food and Fun Festival" which was totally fun, very country out on the coast there, lots of yummy veggies, the best zucchini I have seen, very cute scene. When you go into town the antique stores are VERY upscale, since it's near SF, so that's their market, I guess.
Nate is making his own towers and forts now at the park--he's the only kid making a walled compound. Pretty cool. Also climbing like crazy, getting all of his long, gangly limbs onto the spiderweb climber at Frog Park. Doing the monkey bars, etc. Nice to see him challenging himself "I wanna do it!"

Fabulous pictures!!! What a delight to see the beach tradition carried on to the next generation.
