It's about 150 degrees colder this week...

...than it was two weeks back, and than it was two weeks back, or as it soon will be, from the north and onwards, soaring, in this great land...and the men who drive the trucks...oh I just can't sustain a good Sarah Palin.
Nate was given his first (organic, 'natch) ice cream cone in the lovely 80 degree heat of a couple weekends back, when we journeyed over to SF on the BART with the old STROLLER that the boy still will occasionally sit in. A weekend without fog coalesced (Palin!) with the weekend the streets in the Mission were closed to cars, allowing curious Oakland parents to stroll about, lick delicious ice cream, view architecture from the street (cool!) and try our luck at the free San Francisco Symphony concert in Dolores Park (too crowded!)but Nate had a grand time.

This funky jazz band rolled around, there was funky roller dancing, lots of bikes, and we were looking forward to biking with Nate next time.

He was tanked up on chocolate ice cream and really tried to make the best of it when we got to the park for the concert, but it really was a bit too hot and so we headed downhill back home, where it was actually cooler and breezier and Nate got to water his beloved lawn triangle.

Glad to know we have another gardener coming up in the family. Great Granpa's farm was called "Backachers." Grandma's beginning to think a small triangle to water is best. Enjoy, Nate!
