Birthday cupcake joy!
Lots of excitement about another birthday--we love going to see Moira and Chris and Anne in the city, and they picked the big nice park near the Presidio--good call! Tremendous excitement about the de-lish cupcakes from Miette bakery with GIANT globs of buttercream frosting!! And Scarfenburger choco cake for the "adults." Nate recapped the day's entertainment:
Momma! We went to a birthday party! *big smile*

We had cupcakes at the party, and they were chocolate with white tops and I had to eat it, you couldn't eat it Momma, it was mine and I had to take the white part off and you couldn't touch it and then I ate the cupcake!
--Yes, you sure did!
The pinata was really fun. Anne disemboweled it of it's cheap candy and filled it with good chocolate, bubbles and playdoh! Way to go, Anne! Nate gave it a few friendly taps!
Lot of kids, lots of fun, and then home for the chocolate denouement.

And party he did! That chocolate has a very strong and profound effect upon the Howard genetic constitution. No nap yesterday, last day off (Thur.) or today! Not even chocolate-based problems today, just over-stimulation riding the Carny rides at a street faire. Guess Junior has finally outgrown his nap! yikes!
Life is just one big adventure, and everything is fun. Losing that afternoon nap? Oy vey, Mom. Maybe he goes to bed earlier?
