"Want Ruby to come out from the car wash machine!"

Ruby! Come out from the carwash machine!
Mommy thinks oh Nate Ruby cannot be in the carwash machine! But lo and behold, she took over Nate's fort (crawls through under blanket fringe--it's a "carwash machine")!

And no, he does not want to go back to the real car wash!

The other big news here is potty training is pretty much 100% compliance and I KNOW you want to hear all about it! ...still got 'em on at night but I can't tell you how funny it is to go out with a little kid and have them running home to use the potty! We all went out for chicken soup and tacos (very good chickie soup at our corner place) and Nate was running the last block yelling "Have to use the potty!" A mommy's dream! We keep a spare potty in the trunk for going out, still, and we open the doors on the car for privacy, and that's working just fine.

Hope you are all feeling better.
I adore the fact that Ruby knows how to get attention from Nate - get in his way.
Blueberry anything sounds lovely.

Potty training continues until age six years, the text book says.

Ruby and Schmink like to chase each other under there, of course, but Ruby NEVER wants attention from Nate! Rocco was his main kitty.

He's doing really great with potty time--uses the extra one while we're out and about. This will save mommy some serious scratch, not having to buy so many diapers.

Love that fort/car wash/tent age where kids enjoy so much revving up the imagination. Ruby must have figured out that it must be fun.

Oh joy, oh rapture -- the potty-trained kid. As usual, Nate makes up his own mind when he's ready, then goes for it. All in good time. They grow up so fast.
