Xmas adventures
Colin and Jane's wacky Xmas party was top drawer. We still haven't done an official Xmas tree over here, nor a Menorah, but we did both over there, and ate like piggies. Jane (in grey) loves Xmas and gives all her pals presents, however, last year we got an inflatable moosehead, however, so that is both good and bad!
Mommy made a chocolate-cinnamon pound cake with raspberries and whipped cream and someone else made lemon tarts. Nate just chased the giant kitty "Gee" and Gee chased Nate, jumping up on the bed and nuzzling him!
We all opened presents the next day and Nate was kind of flummoxed--he was like "I opened one and now I am happy with my Matchbox car, why are you bugging me?" Mommy is trying to stagger the toys more these days, with more stashed in Nate's room. So many new cool things to play with! Mommy is excited to paint more, too, Nate is just getting able to handle a paintbrush.

Happy New Year to all with wishes for a healthy and fine year!
I love that painting - with JC holding his ears - where did that come from? Your poundcake sounds great! Yum. Looks like everyone is having a wonderful time.
What is that fur thing Nate is holding? He looks so darling.
Yes, everyone click on the picture and take a closer look at the painting! That is a work by Jane, who does very funny realistic painting, usually on a grand scale, of faces, performances, and such, mostly of her friends. I think her friend Jason is seated at dinner.
Oh, it's not dinner, it's businessmen yelling. You can see me in the mirror with the camera, and that's Matt on the left getting some vittles.
And I don't know what that fur thing was! Gee was watching Nate, so ask him!
Great idea -- staggering gifts. Painting sounds like fun.
What a party! It's great to have a group of friends to get together with on holidays.
