Hiking time in ye olde Sibley

Good time to hike off some turkey--the day after Thanksgiving is hiking time for lots of families around here...despite the weather. Nate's in his new jacket and mommy is layered in her fleece, it was about 49 degrees down at the maze, or "freezing" for a Californian. Nate had a good time jumping over rocks and the fog was eerie and cool. He wolfed down his pb & j and we headed back up.
Nate barely put up with Mommie's b-day brunch (35 again!) today, marched around the place (luckily very spacious) with Katky, demanding to go to the playground. He laid around on the booths like "oh, god, the things I have to put up with!" He likes going out at night better, daytime is for playing!

OK. 49 degrees. We're about to have our first "sticking" snowfall- 11/30.
Not even Winter as yet -
Nate looks so happy being outdoors, hiking with parents.
More toys must be toted to brunchs.
We had toys at brunch--he just didn't want to go and was mad about the whole deal.
He sort of doesn't mind hiking--as long as there is a destination...lots of good banana slugs out, too.
Spoken like a true Californian -- "We're freezing!!" when it's almost 50 degrees. So amusing to those from northern climes, but we Southwest Floridians are complete wimps.
