Also takes a long time for the slide show to load ... if you only see 2 or 3 pics, let it cycle a few times. There are more than a dozen pics. --Dad.

I think I used to like parades.
What's the matter with this one - one car at a time? What did they all say- you can't ride next to me or something. And leave this huge gap between cars so the people will have to crane their necks to see the next one.

Fantastic slide show!!! Dad will love the old cars. Looks like a super fun day with all the bells and whistles -- cars, horses, floats, etc. Great job, Dad! And won't Nate enjoy the replay when he's older. See, Nate, that's you at age 2!

Yes, we were at the end of the route so it was very spread-out by the time it got to us...still fun, though.

Electric cars were the theme, btw, which is why they whizzed out one by one. Electric cars need some kind of noise, IMHO, they sneak up on a mommy and a baby and surprise us in parking lots!
Also, we left in the serious people in the chairs next to us on purpose--Alameda is a military town and the old-timers did not care for the electric cars, stop the war people, or any other such nonsense!
