Grubby McGrubbersons on an all-day play binge...

Man this kid can rumble...up early with a bad dream "Want to water the graaaassss!"
Then a walk down to the Nature Center where he watched mommy do some crafts--"Wanna Go!" He lasted about 45 minutes, really a record class-wise. They have an awesome (and FREE!) program for tots, ending in a couple of weeks. Nate got in a little coloring.
Off to the purple slide and swing-swing with little Aburra (Ethiopia) and Jacketta (Oakland) and Eva (Colombia/Spain). Mommy needs to scare up some Ethiopian/Eritrean recipes from some of our locals...seriously yummy foodstuffs. Turns out Jacketta was a big Gabba Gabba fan!
Then of course we had to stop for a taco, where Nate drank out of a glass no problem and had a little taco, then over to visit elevators, then FINALLY home. At 3:30 he got out his musical instruments box and was banging away at a tambourine! Mommy has to wrastle him into his bookie chair and get him into his crib. Even then I hear "Momma goes potty!!" from behind the closed door! Geez oh peets!

We're working on a set of wheels for the little guy...air tires vs. plastic...air tires hard to keep inflated, plastic of course skid-prone and bumpy.
You deserve Mother's Day - what a schedule! And what's with dreaming about watering the grass?
Bookie chair can be seen May 2007 in "Giant Child goes night-night."

OH, and "watering the grass" is Mucky wielding the hose as it spurts water out the side, directing most of the water satisfactorily down the drain outside...
He got put to bed without watering the grass the other day--remembers to complain upon awakening--there's a Howard for you.
