Nate's World

I put my feets in the water!

Mommy was SO excited to go swimming, since it was suddenly 85 degrees, and the water was SO COLD! We kept the Muckster's shirt on to cut down on the sun exposure and he had a grand time splashing. Mommy also forgot lovely Lake Anza in Tilden Park (another converted reservoir) doesn't allow diapers in the water, so Mucky can't swim there anyhow, just splash and play. Nate insisted on going to visit the moo cows over at Little Farm afterwards, and was so excited he didn't nap until 4pm! He reported back on the day's activities at dinner (used in the loosest of terms, two bites of chicken, one of cottage cheese) "saw water, saw moo-cow" and such. We always do a recap of the day's events!

Also...we are now reading numbers! Off of the sides of toys and in books, all the way up to ten! I swear, he just picked it up on his own pretty much.

Wow! He looks so grown up and adorable in his bigger-boy rolled up jeans. How lucky he is to live near numerous bodies of water he can actually splash in.

Great pics, too!
