Puh-hutch!
Nate's very favorite thing in the whole world at the moment...the "puh-hutch" or traffic light! We of course, here in the big city, have only the swankiest puh-hutches with accompanying beeps, talking boxes and other bells and whistles, entertaining a tot to no end. First thing in the am we talk about "puh-hutch" and what it 'says' ("boop-boop, boop-boop"). Really, first thing today, looks at me: "Puh-hutch!"
This post may seem a little acerbic as mommy is rather disturbed by finding several websites run by apparently grown men who apparently never outgrew their traffic light fixation! I suppose baby could still grow up to solve global warming and still love traffic lights!! yeah!

And not to leave out the beloved "bun" pronounced like an umlaut, short 'u' (or "drain" to the rest of us). In the car: "puh-hutch, puh-hutch puh-hutch...BUN!"
The big city offers lots of excitement. He'll no doubt move on to other things. It's so special that little ones can find magic in ordinary things.
I can't tell you the mundane feelings this picture brings out in me...sorry for no updates for so long!
