Bye bye horsies

Here's the carousel mentioned below. This was Nate's first ride on the horsies for the big kids that go up and down. He usually rides on a static horse attached to a bench on the Tilden merry-go-round. Mommy hung on to him every second but he was very proud of himself and was extremely upset when we tried to leave after two rides. He cried when we finally tore him away after two more rides. "Bye bye horsies" he was still saying five minutes later when the carousel was out of sight.

The carousel was built in 1906, and was in storage for nearly 30 years before it was restored and put back into action in SF's SOMA district.
