Stacking the week away

I apologize for the poor photo action this week but we all have icky colds, as usual, with Nate's nosey finally getting into it today ("Kerty-choo!") and everyone kind of staying mel-lo.
The oil spill threw a wrench into our plans this week, too, and I have to admit I had a real mommy reaction of "oh, how inconvenient" followed closely by the urge to volunteer to scrub oily birdies. They'll be scrubbing oil off of rocks for weeks at all our favorite spots, so awful.
LOTS of new Nateski words--it's hard to keep up!! We still have "Ycky-guck" for 'Ladybug' but we also have "chair" (good to climb) "p-bun" for peanut butter, 'bun-bun' for bang-bang, and lots more 'real' words and sentences like "Read books!" and "dada...out...walk!" Anything important receives the raised hand and a name.
Kitty Ruby is now "Boo" whilst Shmink has to settle for "hook" and Rocco is of course Roc-co. Lots of good singing "oooh...what! oooh...what!" (sing to tune of Mary had a little lamb.)

Looks like Nate is having a wonderful time with blocks!
He's finally standing up and making a tower with us instead of just watching!
Favorite thing though is "line-up blue ones."
Great tower, Nate!!! Wow! Grandpa thinks you're going to be an architect.
Love,
Grandma
