Dangerous Toy Alert
Sheesh, first it was the Thomas Train scandal (lead paint) and now this rather disgusting article on rare earth magnet toys. The worst part is the company was not compliant with recalls. Note to other moms: no plastic toys with very strong rare earth magnets--they are murder if swallowed.

I just saw a set of small wooden cars - comes in a book-like setting with a plastic roadway also Made in China.
The cars were all bright and shiny paint too.
MADE IN CHINA!!!!! At Costco too.
Oh yes, all the toys come from China, except a few lines of German ones, and even those...hopefully that's just bright and shiny acrylic paint. I lead-tested all Nate's stuff when he was little, and hopefully we can get him a safe train set soon.
All toys come from China, and so do Trader Joe's canned beans--the kidney and black ones say "product of China" on the top! That bums me out so much back to Whole Foods for Mommy!
Whole Foods involved in sleazy corporate takeover. You can not win! What kid eats a bunch of magnets anyway? Do they taste good?
That Whole Foods CEO was a real piece of work--"no one shall sell the wholesome foods but I."
It's not the eating of the magnets, but the breaking of them and the accidental ingestion! The article points out adults ate some too!
